Moringa and High Blood Pressure, I learned about moringa in college, when I studied abroad in Ghana. Back then, I didn’t understand the health implications and how to buy the right seeds, but here I am 20 years later, learning about moringa in a healthcare environment.
A moringa nut consists of 98% to 99% achene. I’m not sure how this one nut has health benefits all over the world but can it be helpful for blood pressure? That’s what I’m trying to learn more about.
The plant is called moringa, which is derived from the Latin word for “to sweat” because it grows well in tropical and temperate climates.
It is closely related to the plant we know as yellow banana, and also contains the chemical compound tetrachlorodibenzene, which is toxic to insects and seeds. The chemical protects seeds against insect damage and the plant is highly drought tolerant.
There is a host of health benefits attributed to moringa. Recently, there has been a lot of scientific research trying to determine its health benefits. One study shows moringa’s effectiveness in treating hypertension.
Researchers took blood samples and monitored the body’s blood pressure of 70 subjects. Those who took moringa capsules for 15 days had significantly lower blood pressure than the other participants.
Some of the study participants who consumed moringa for 6 months had significant reductions in high blood pressure. This study supports the finding that moringa is beneficial to hypertension.
Another study found moringa’s ability to reduce both blood pressure and cholesterol. These findings indicate that moringa may benefit a large number of people who suffer from high blood pressure.

Who is this plant for?

The CDC’s 2015 data is about the same with 59% women versus 59% men. It’s important to point out that the CDC reports statistics on high blood pressure, not high blood pressure itself. The symptoms of high blood pressure vary for men and women.
When a woman has high blood pressure, they often don’t have severe symptoms but it can damage their kidneys.
So, women with high blood pressure often have blood pressure that’s elevated but never high enough to cause harm. When men have high blood pressure, they may have high blood pressure but the symptoms are severe or even severe high blood pressure that’s a serious threat to your health.
You may have been told that high blood pressure can cause the elderly to be thirsty all the time. That’s not true. Sometimes high blood pressure can cause a person to have to take more pills, keep their blood sugar higher, or even find that they need to spend more time and money taking care of their blood pressure than they used to.

An important aspect of your diet is eating right at meal time. Make sure that your blood pressure is high before you eat.
You want your blood pressure to stay in control as much as possible because high blood pressure has the potential to do some serious damage. Don’t ignore your blood pressure when you’re worried about it.
